Winter hiking with snowshoes.
Walk effortlessly through the snowy winter landscape - totally surrounded by peace and quiet. Enjoy things you would normally only experience on a ski tour. Snowshoe hiking opens up a completely new level of enjoyment - especially for non-skiers.

Price per person: about €60 depending on group size (price includes cableway ticket, snowshoes)
The tour begins with a cable car ride up to the mountain terminal. From here you proceed along a high altitude ridge to the Diedams saddle and amble your way through the Halden valley before coming to a short uphill section to the Neuhornbachjoch. From there the more courageous members of the group can whizz down to the valley on an “airboard” (inflatable winter sports board).
Meeting point: at Hotel Restaurant Schiff on Mondays (02 January 12 - 02 April 12 and Friday 30 December 11)
Price: €20 per person (includes snowshoes and head lamp).
Please ensure you make a prior registration in the tourist offices by 3 pm on the day of the hike.
The hike takes you past Wieden into the rugged Dürrenbach valley. Descent across the “Stieg” back to the starting point.
