Au-Schoppernau, the starting point to the most beautiful ski regions in the Bregenzerwald.
In Au-Schoppernau there are differences of opinion as to which are the most beautiful skiing regions and routes in the Bregenezewald, then here at the foot of Diedamskopf it is not too far from the popular ski resorts of Warth-Schröcken and Damüls-Mellau. There is, however an agreement on one thing and that is: Au-Schoppernau is the optimal starting point for winter sportsmen/women....
Diedamskopf - The Family Ski Area and the highest destination in the Bregenzerwald
With a total of 44 km trails and ski runs:
14,4 km blue trails, 19,6 km red trails, 10 km black trails
The Diedamskopf is not only known as the highest point of the KäseStrasse (cheese road) in Bregenzerwald due to it's unique views but also as the highest mountain station (2060m) in the Bregenzerwald. From the sunny terraces of the restaurants one has an overview of the wonderful mountains of the region. Sports and nature lovers are enthused by the mountain lift stations of Diedamskopf in winter as well as summer.
Over 300 m² of play-area is offered at the Kinder-Erlebnisland, which offers play, fun and child-care for children from 3 to 8 year of age. There is no entrance fee for local children and children staying in Au-Schoppernau! There is also a family area where children from 0-3

30 km are blue pistes, 17 km are red pistes, 9 km are black pistes, 10 km of ski trails
Warth-Schröcken is also known for its great choice of off-piste skiing. The many north-facing slopes are a sure-fire guarantee of the opportunity to go skiing here until well into spring.
The Warth-Schröcken skiing area is about 17 km away from Au-Schoppernau.
Ski buses will take you safely and comfortably to the start of the skiing area!

26 km are blue pistes, 48 km are red pistes, 10 km are black pistes, 21 km ski routes
From this winter the ski resort of Damüls and die ski resort of Mellau are connected through a new cable car. The union not only joins the southern slopes of Damüls with the northern slopes of Mellau - it also creates new pistes.
