Widderstein 2.533m

Widderstein 2.533m

The Widderstein is one of the striking and much-climbed peaks in the border region Bregenzerwald, Kleines Walsertal, Lechttal and Allgäu.

A classic summit tour with a short climb, easy climbing passages and a wonderful panoramic view. From the Hochtannbergpass along the marked hiking trail towards the Widdersteinhütte (2,015m). Just before the hut, turn left towards the summit. Follow the marking to the summit ridge, which is partially exposed, then it is about 10 minutes to the summit cross. The descent is the same way.
