Guiedes Snow-Shoe-Hikes

This tour offers a fantastic panorama that shines in the evening light of the setting sun. With the mountain railway we drive to the middle station. Here, the snowshoe tour begins to the Neuhornbachhaus, which invites you to warm up and to a strengthening. An eventful toboggan ride takes us back to Schoppernau.
What awaits you? Easy 150 vertical meters in the ascent and descent with a leisurely length of 3.7 km. Exciting 900 meters of altitude and 5 km of tobogganing.

Price: € 40,00 per person incl. snowshoes, toboggan and headlamps, excl. ticket for the mountain railway. Minimum age for children 8 years.
Do not forget: solid and warm winter shoes, warm clothing, ski or ski poles, ski goggles.

Nighttime snowshoe hike WALKING TIME: 1,5 ALTITUDE: 200 M

Snow Shoe Hiking - a winter sport that requires no prior knowledge, but opens up new perspectives and an intense, close-up experience for nature lovers. The route selection depends on the weather and snow conditions.

at Hotel Restaurant Schiff in Au on Mondays (7th January - 01st April 19)
Price: € 25 per person (includes snowshoes, snowsticks and head lamp).

Diedamskopf-Tour WALKING TIME: 6 H ALTITUDE: 400 M

Every Thursday at 9.30 am. (Replacement schedule friday).

The tour begins with a cable car ride up to the mountain terminal. From here you proceed along a high altitude ridge to the Diedams saddle and amble your way through the Halden valley before coming to a short uphill section to the Neuhornbachjoch. From there the more courageous members of the group can whizz down to the valley on an “airboard” (inflatable winter sports board)
Price per person: about € 70 depending on group size (price includes cableway ticket, snowshoes and sledge)
Minimum number of participants is 5 persons
